Now that the ankle boots and booties are all the rage, it seems we’ve forgotten about the classic knee high boots that have been with us for ages. With November and all its leaves right in our face, I believe it’s time we grab a latte and give some serious love to our little English friend, otherwise known as the knee high boot. I’m going to pretend as if all knee high boots are English… just go with me.
Styling boots can be challenging. To cuff or not to cuff? Now that's a real question... for another day. But for now, take a look at these 4 simple tips on how to confidently style your knee high boots.
1. CHOOSE A SCARF
Adding a scarf around your neck can balance out the heaviness of the boots with the bottom of your outfit.
2. ADD SOCKS
Choose a pair of neutral long socks to add underneath your boot. Have your socks extend about an inch or so from the top of the boot.
3. PICK A COLOR
Match your boot color to your pant leg to elongate your legs.
4. WEAR A DRESS
Pair your boots with a fall skirt or dress, but remember to show a couple of inches of bare leg between the top of your boot and where your skirt or dress falls.
