Jenn's 10 summer outfits, & what she learned about her personal style, herself, and how to make her clothing more interchangeable during the Summer 10x10 Challenge.
Outfit 10 in the app. I can't wait to add all my other items back into my Cladwell closet! But I will miss my "100% worn" stat that I've achieved during this challenge, but it's a great motivator to wear all of my clothes in my closet.
I feel so grateful to have been able to join Caroline and Lee for my first 10x10 challenge! Can you believe the summer 10x10 is coming to a close?? 10 items really can make 10 different outfits for 10 separate days.
I'm heading out of this 10x10 challenge feeling pretty accomplished! If the goal of the challenge is to help me be more satisfied with the clothing I already own, then I'd say it has definitely been achieved. I'm feeling ready to be creative with the clothes I already have in my closet - especially after seeing everyone's #summer10x10 posts on Instagram. What an encouraging bunch of ladies!
On Monday I’ll be sharing a recap post including my favorite outfits, least favorite outfits, overall thoughts about the challenge, and how I'm feeling heading back to my whole closet. Before I forget, let's talk about Outfit 10:
Today is a rainy day in Downtown Cincinnati, so it worked out that my final outfit fit the weather (AKA, flat sandals instead of my block heels, no white pants). On a sunny day, I'd definitely shed the jean jacket, but today's gloominess makes me want all the layers I can handle. This outfit felt like an easy go-to after testing a similar one last Wednesday. It's so comfy!
What are you opting for on this fine last day of the 10x10 challenge? I can't wait to see your posts on Instagram! Don't forget to tag your photos with #summer10x10, #cladwell10x10, #unfancyremix, and #stylebee10x10. And be sure to watch Caroline and Lee's Instagram Stories throughout the day as they share their final outfits!
Welcome back to the second week of the summer 10x10 challenge! It was so refreshing to take the weekend off and use my whole closet again. It's amazing how after only five days of this challenge, I was thinking of new ways to wear all my other clothes. Who knew that restrictions would lead to creativity?? (Haha, everyone knew).
This Monday outfit is comfy and easy - exactly what I need after a weekend away at a friend's wedding. The simple recipe: white button-up, high-waisted jeans, and sandals. Simple seems to be the key today - check out Lee and Caroline's outfits to see their take on the second Monday of this 10x10 challenge!
Happy Friday! Today's the halfway point for my first-ever 10x10, and I must say that I'm feeling pretty good! Granted, I have worn every single item at this point, so next week will be where the real creativity will have to kick in. Here's a closer look into today's outfit: white wide-leg cropped pants, black tee, and block heels. I'm a big fan of keeping it simple, and I hardly ever wear jewelry, but this black-and-white combo seemed like it could use a little color pop. I double-looped my red bandana to make a choker/neckerchief. Now the outfit feels complete!
Be sure to check out Caroline and Lee's outfits today - it looks like we're all on the same page again with all black-and-white outfits! We at Cladwell have been loving seeing all of the #summer10x10 posts on Instagram. It's so encouraging to see a community of beautiful ladies who are all being intentional with their summer wardrobes. Keep up the great work!
If you're just joining, not to fret! You can start your very own 10x10 anytime. Here are the rules: 10 items, 10 outfits, 10 days, and.. have fun! This challenge is all about getting creative with the clothes you already own, not feeling a need to shop for a whole new wardrobe, and loving your personal style. If you decide to join in on the fun, share your experience on Instagram by using the hashtags #summer10x10 #stylebee10x10 #cladwell10x10 and #unfancyremix.
Have a great weekend! I'll be back on Monday to share Outfit 6 and kick off week two of the summer 10x10 challenge!
Re-wearing a piece of clothing is never a bad thing! See how Jen takes the same shorts & creates a new look for her 4th summer outfit in the 10x10 challenge.
