GETTING STARTED WITH CLADWELL

1. ADD ALL OF YOUR CLOTHING INTO YOUR CLADWELL CLOSET.

  • Go to the closet page and tap on the blue plus sign.

  • Filter clothing by category (shirts, pants, dresses etc).

  • Looking for something specific? Use the filters at the top of the screen to sort by color, pattern, and shape.

  • Tap on items that are the most "similar" to the ones you own. It doesn't have to be an exact match. Pick out the most defining characteristics and choose an item with those same features (i.e. the color or cut).

2. VIEW & EDIT YOUR DAILY OUTFIT SUGGESTIONS.

  • Every day Cladwell sends you 3 outfit suggestions based on what’s in your closet and what the weather is like outside.

  • If you don't like one of the outfits, tap the refresh button for a new outfit.

  • If you want to change the outfit - or create your own - tap the edit button and replace one or all of the items.

  • If you already know an item you'd like to wear - tap on that item in your closet and see all of its outfit possibilities.

3. LOG THE OUTFIT YOU WORE THAT DAY.

  • Log your outfit by tapping the log button. If you are logging from the closet - tap on the 3 dots.

  • Every time you log your outfit, Cladwell gets smarter and sends you better recommendations.

  • This way, you are able to keep track of what you're wearing and what you're not wearing.

  • See all your outfits in the log history at the top right-hand corner of the screen.

4. DISCOVER NEW OUTFIT POSSIBILITIES.

  • Click on an item in the closet page and tap "see outfits" to discover all of its outfit possibilities.

  • If you want to wear one of those outfits for the day, simply press the log button and it will replace your currently logged outfit.

  • To find new items that will work within your closet, go to the Discover Page and see how an article of clothing fits into your current closet.

5. CREATE MULTIPLE CAPSULES FOR DIFFERENT OCCASIONS.

  • Tap on the hamburger icon (3 lines) in the upper left-hand corner of the app.

  • If there are certain clothes in your closet that you wouldn't wear to work, then you might want to create a "work capsule" and put all your work clothes into that capsule. That way, on work days you can set the app to only send you outfit recommendations from your work clothing.

  • Or, let's say you decide to go on a vacation and only want outfits recommended from the clothes you packed. You can create a "vacation capsule" and whatever items you add in will be the only items we'll recommend for outfits.
