Picking favorites

Now that you’ve taken your Capsule Wardrobe out for a spin, we’re ready for the finishing touches.

1. Open the Outfits app and go to the outfits tab

2. Tap on your Outfit History and scroll back through the last 2 weeks of outfits.

  • Which outfits did you feel most like you?

  • Which could you wear over and over again, knowing you’ll feel put together and comfortable?

3. Mark those outfits as a” favorite”, by going into the outfit detail screen and tapping the heart (these outfits will now be saved in your “Favorites” section on the outfits tab)

How to use favorites

If you ever have problems figuring out what to wear, come back to these fail-safe formulas in your Favorites.

  • Let’s say one of the outfits you loved wearing was: a blazer, a graphic t-shirt, a boyfriend jean, and a flat

  • Plug and play other pieces in your wardrobe into the formula: swap that graphic tee with a crewneck, or instead of a blue wide-leg jean, maybe go for a black straight leg jean.

  • Favorites are meant to give you a simple formula to easily create outfits you know you’ll love.

Style analytics

The goal of creating a capsule wardrobe is to wear every single item we own.

  • Take a look at your style analytics by tapping on your profile image on the home tab

  • There are two sections, “What You Own” and “What You Wear”

  • Compare the colors and items that you own with what you wore over the last 2 weeks

You can always refer back to your Style Analytics to review which item types and colors you wear most. This helps you hone in and define your style even more over time. Now, finally, it’s time to go shopping.

Let’s go shopping

Remember, we’re aiming for purchasing 24 clothing items or less per year, which is** 6 or less for each season.** (If you feel your capsule is already complete, congrats! You can skip this section altogether.)

  • Refer back to the Shopping List we made earlier and go ahead and make those purchases after this Session

  • Try not to spend more than 2 hours shopping

  • You may not find all the items on your list, but that’s fine, you can always keep looking throughout the season

  • As you purchase items, be sure to add them to your capsule in the Cladwell Outfits App, so you can see your whole closet in one place and continue to get daily outfit recommendations
